The Air Issue
Our celebration of “Life with Plants on this Planet” continues with our second issue featuring writings of Editorial Director Ito Seiko on flowers observed during a trip to the Koichi Prefectural Makino Botanical Garden, our Sprout series on nascent plant culture, product and lifestyle, plus poetry and our Flower Girl section which includes a special Wild Strawberry seed for your very own garden. There are also photo editorials like “Air Plantation,” or “Kimono of the Seasons” highlight our love of plants, plus a range of interviews with Tillandsia-specialized botanists, an essay from Nakako Hayashi, a look at artworks for Botanical Life, The second of our Veranda series in addition to our sections like Plant Heads, Industry+Plants (a look at Bioethanol in Japan,) Plants+People, Play+Plants, Design+Plants and Arrange+Plants all come together to round out this second issue, guest designed by Hatori Kazunari.
