Papersky Mountain Club Snowshoeing
It’s midwinter, the height of snow season and Papersky Mountain Club captain Yohei Naruse arranged and led a two-day snowshoeing trip with Papersky readers up in North Yatsugatake. Among the highlights were deep snow, a blissful walk through countless frozen ponds and snowcapped trees under a big sky, staying in snow huts, reaching a remote observatory as well as a relaxing warm wine night.
