TDN in Saitama
都心からわずか1時間。埼玉県外秩父山地の裾野に広がる、自然豊かな大地と町並みを巡る今春の「ツール・ド・ニッポン埼玉」の旅。1日目は、“オーガニックタウン” 小川町で、有機ファームやワイナリー、カフェなど、この町の魅力をつくり、発信している人々を自転車で訪ねます。サイクリング終了後は、小川町発のビール・ワインと有機野菜を使った軽食で乾杯！夜は小川町のユニークな飲食店巡りへ出発します。2日目は小川町を出て、周辺の町々へ。“木の町”ときがわ町では、アウトドアナイフを使った木工ワークショップを体験。埼玉のおいしいものを味わいながら、奥武蔵ののどかな山裾を気持ちよく駆け抜けます。
We have started accepting applications for the Tour de Nippon, which will take participants on a tour of the land and towns of Saitama, a place rich in natural beauty, only one hour from central Tokyo.On the first day, participants will cycle through the “organic town” of Ogawa-machi, visiting organic farms, winery, cafes, and others that create the town’s charms. After cycling, we will toast with beer and wine from Ogawa-machi and light meals using organic vegetables! In the evening, we will depart for a tour of unique restaurants in Ogawa-machi.On the second day, we will leave Ogawa-machi for the surrounding towns. In Tokigawa town, known as the “town of wood,” we will experience a woodworking workshop using outdoor knives. Enjoying tasting Saitama’s delicious food, we ride comfortably through the peaceful foothills of the Okumusashi Mountains.
